Summing up a successful  year  here at Be’er Tuvya Regional High School , where we have begun to embed amongst our community the importance and awareness of our responsibility in solving environmental problems , especially in our agricultural community . One issue we’ve addressed is the use of biological pest control  instead of harmful chemical pesticides .We are proud to continue to help develop a better place to live in. A place where nature is respected and understood for its innate power to sustain and protect the environment where we and our children live.

The actual placement of nesting boxes for our winged family ,compensates for the continuous loss of natural nesting sites and destruction made by man single handedly throughout the 20th century. By dispersing these nesting boxes in strategic areas ,we have aided them to return HOME. In addition , this has ensured a reduction in the damage that pesticides cause to people , soil , water , wildlife and migrating birds. Amongst the birds of prey being reinstated here in our area are the Barn Owls , Common Kestrels  , Falcons , Bats , Great Tit , Hoopoe , and the Common Swift.
